
County Chamber of Commerce honors Hunterdon businesses and individuals

nj.com: FLEMINGTON – Twelve Hunterdon County businesses, organizations and individuals were recognized Thursday morning at the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce’s annual business awards ceremony held at the Copper Hill Country Club in Ringoes.
Lisa van den Woldenberg, owner of the Flemington-based Grape Finale Hands-On Winery, received the Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Woldenberg thanked her clients and family for their continuous support of her business, and singled out her parents as “my cheerleaders throughout my life.”
“When I told them I wanted to start a hands-on winery at the age of 50, they did suggest I put my energy towards preparing for retirement. But when I’m introduced to their friends in California, I’m greeted with, ‘So this is your famous winemaker daughter,'” Woldenberg said.
